Our History

Immerse International was founded in 1987 to be a multicultural community where international students study academic English and live in our residence hall. The 10-acre campus was originally built in the early years of the 20th century as an orphanage. The two brick mansions have been updated to accommodate modern student life. Also on the campus is the original brick schoolhouse where the Intensive English Language Program (IELP) operates providing academic English.
