- Why Immerse?
Immerse International, formerly known as Millersville International House or “MIH”, was founded in 1987. For over 26 years, Immerse has been a multicultural community where international students have opportunities to develop professionally, academically, and personally. Students live in a safe environment, assisted by our caring staff.
Immerse has up to 15 different countries represented at any given time. Students will be enriched from this cross-pollination of cultures where diversity is honored and differing viewpoints are respected. Immerse students will increase their cultural intelligence and be prepared to make a difference in a global society. English is the language of the house and school, so everyone here is supportive while you learn. See how students describe Immerse in the video below.
Immerse International is located in beautiful Lancaster County, PA, which is a rapidly growing community of people from all over. Lancaster County is also home to one of the largest populations of Amish in the United States. Immerse is central to the major population centers of the United States and close to many attractions students want to see while here, including New York City, Washington D.C., Philadelphia and Baltimore.Whether living or studying at Immerse, students will develop lifelong friendships with people from around the world. They will be immersed in Language, Culture and Community.
Come and “Immerse.” Develop your global perspective, and find your place in this world. Read more at Why Immerse?
