My family has deep roots in Southeastern Pennsylvania. I grew up just across the field from where my father grew up, and just across the stream from where my grandfather grew up. That rootedness has been a gift as I've followed the call of God to Bolivia for 7 months after high school and then to Indonesia for 6 years. In between there, I got a degree in Anthropology from Temple University, and then, while in Indonesia, a Master's in Education from Morling College, Australia. I am grateful to live on the Immerse campus with my beautiful wife, Michelle, and three young children. We are so enriched by the people we get to meet from all over the world. I love to be outside as much as I can, playing sports, riding bike, or just soaking in the beauty of creation.

I grew up in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. Throughout my school years, my family hosted multiple foreign exchange students, who I enjoyed getting to know and learning from about their home countries. After graduation, I had the opportunity to live in Albania with a local family for five months. That experience really gave me a new appreciation for cultures and languages different from my own! Shortly after, I met my wonderful wife Krista, and we have continued to enjoy engaging other cultures by visiting many other countries, and serving the international community here in Lancaster. I love that Immerse welcomes and builds relationships with people from all over the world! As I work here, I am also studying at Millersville University; pursuing a BA in English, hoping to teach students learning English as a second language. My hobbies include reading, traveling, and hunting.

I grew up in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, with my family roots, through both of my parents, deeply connected to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. After completing a BS in Information Systems and Business Administration, I worked in Raleigh, North Carolina for an organization that focused on computer refurbishment and technology training for local non-profits. From there, my first taste of the nations outside of the United States was a five-month trip to Nepal. This was a life-changing experience for me in many ways, including meeting my lovely wife, Ruthy, who was also part of that trip. After getting married and spending several years living in the City of Lancaster, we, along with our one-year old daughter, moved to North India and were involved there for over eight years in several small business and community development opportunities. We have grown as a family, now with two daughters and two sons. Iā€™m grateful to be involved at Immerse where I can continue to invest in building bridges across communities and cultures and helping others to discover and live out their God-given gifts and passions. I love all things related to sports, exploring creation, and continued learning through reading and experience.
